Nerrow grew up in the Chiss Ascendancy with a militaristic upbringing learning martial skills and tactics as many Chiss do. As he reached adolescence he began to learn about the empire in the galaxy beyond his home and the actions of one Admiral Thrawn in his efforts to assist them in repelling the great danger heading towards them all. Inspired by the record of Thrawn Nerrow resigned his commission in the Ascendancy as soon as he could and left to join the Empire, working his way through the ranks to gain command of his own vessel one day. Finally, having reached the starting point of his ambitions when Thrawn placed him in command of The Dawn's Reprisal, a Quasar Fire-Class Escort Carrier. Now finally being able to command his own ship and begin his legacy he seeks to defeat Thrawn's enemies and make his mark on the galaxy.
