Born to a Twi'lek immigrant family on Corellia, Warat grew up as a child of two cultures, fitting neatly in neither. Humans mocked him for his alien origins and Twi'leks outside his family rejected him for trying to fit in a group that would never accept him as their own. Nevertheless, Warat stubbornly refused to give up and this refusal helped him go places. Eventually becoming a student of political sciences at Coronet University, he graduated magna cum laude, swearing to do what he can to improve the standing of the Galaxy's many alien species on human-dominated worlds. As a result, he became a politician, starting at the bottom and working his way up until he became part of the Corellian diplomatic mission to Coruscant. Life here would end up changing him as he was forced to work long hours for low wages and slowly ended up becoming quite cynical with the politics of the Galaxy at large as he witnessed how the Empire was run at its heart. After a while, he became something of a rogue, working odd jobs in between advocating for alien rights. Through a strange series of events involving taking loans from a banker of ill repute, he ended up becoming embroiled in a heist, wondering where he went wrong in life...
