Slings are lengths of hide or synthetic fabric designed to allow easy handling of long arms like blaster rifles and slugthrower rifles. They come in a dizzying array of styles, from the simple adjustable single-strap sling for carrying a weapon off the shoulder to multi-strap slings made of specialized materials that allow for any number of custom sling configurations. These attachments can only be used with Ranged (Heavy) weapons.
Models Include: Custom-tooled Bantha hide sling, Tactical three-point sling, Quick-release one-point drop sling.
Reduce any wielded weapon's Cumbersome quality and Encumbrance rating by a number equal to ranks in Burly to a minimum of 1.
Add 1 damage per rank of Barrage to 1 hit of successful attack while using Ranged (Heavy) or Gunnery skills at long or extreme range.
Gain +1 strain threshold
Gain +2 wound threshold.
Perform the Brace maneuver to remove :eK: per rank of Brace from next Action. This may only remove :eK: added by environmental circumstances.
Cannot run out of ammo due to :e$:. Items with Limited Ammo quality run out of ammo as normal.
May reduce any Critical Injury suffered by 10 per rank of Durable to a minimum of 1.
Once per round, may perform Side Step maneuver and suffer a number of strain to upgrade difficulty of all incoming ranged attacks by an equal number until start of char's next turn. Strain suffered this way cannot exceed ranks in Side Step. (Mnvr)
May spend 1 Destiny Point to ignore effects of Critical Injuries on Brawn or Agility checks until the end of the encounter.
Perform the Rain of Death maneuver to ignore the increased difficulty due to the Auto-fire quality of attacks made this turn.
Immediately after being hit by an attack but before suffering damage, spend 1 Destiny Point to increase soak by ranks in Resilience.
Gain +1 to a single characteristic. This cannot bring a characteristic above 6.
When wearing armor, Increase total soak value by 1.
Once per session, spend :e!: on a successful Ranged (Heavy) or Gunnery check to add the Breach 1 quality to the attack, or increase an existing Breach rating by 1.
Technology runs on power, and while most devices have internal power sources, these either run out or need augmentation. Energy cells are small battery disks that can keep most hand-held devices going for a while longer, while power packs are larger versions suitable for blasters and other high-demand gear. Extra reloads allow characters to ignore an out of ammo" :e$: result with a ranged weapon. By spending a maneuver, they may reload their weapons and get back in the fight.
Models Include: Numerous Variants.
Emergency repait patches are designed to be both portable and easy to use even in the midst of stressful combat situations. Typically they consist of a semi-flexible durasteel disk rimmed with auto-activating thermal welds. Some patches also contain an electrically intert inner insulation layer to protect against shortouts. Emergency repair patches can be quickly applied over a damaged portion of a droid's chassis, then quickly spot-welded into position, protecting the droid's interior safe from further damage and reinforcing the chassis's structural integrity.
An emergency repair patch is a one use item that mechanics can use to patch small holes in items or vehicles, or more commonly to heal wounds on droids. It takes a maneuver for a character to use one on himself or another. Each patch automatically heals 3 wounds on a droid. This can be done five times in a day. The sixth patch heals no wounds though, as the droid is so patched together that further patches would be useless. It takes a day for the droid's self repair diagnostics (or some actual repairs) to restore the body to enough functionality to be able to accept additional emergency patches.

Load-bearing gear, or combat webbing, is a system used by soldiers to carry necessary equipment on their persons in easily accessible pouches. They are commonly made of hard-wearing reinforced textiles, and often with removable armor plates.
Load-bearing gear increases a wearer's encumbrance threshold by 3.
Models Include: Imperial Armory M-4 Army Combat Webbing, AHH "Striker" Tactical Vest.
Popular with weapon crewmen, squad support gunners, and anyone who makes a living behind the sights of a heavy man-portable or vehicle-mounted weapon, Fabritech's AG/I Mk. III targeting goggles are the best selling targeting aid on the galactic market today. Worn over a shooter's eyes, the Mk. III goggles use a number of physical and electronic systems to improve a gunner's combat effectiveness. Along with a highly detailed holographic targeting reticule, the Mk.III also provides a user with varying strengths of telescopic zoom, low-light vision, and a number of filters to reduce glare and eye fatigue. In addition, the goggles are equipped with a small, powerful ballistic computer that can instantly plot firing solutions, label and rank enemies by threat level, track friendlies, and generally increase accuracy while reducing waste and incidents of friendly fire.
Wearing an AG/I Mk. III targeting goggles allows the character to count the silhouette of his target as one greater when making Gunnery checks targeting a starship or vehicle.
