Background

Sardo joined the Empire to help secure it during the Galactic Civil War. As a near human, he wasnt allowed to be given a commission and instead worked as a non-commissioned technician aboard a variety of ships, being passed around by commanding officers who didn't want an alien on board.

After the destruction of the Death Star above Endor, and the subsequent actions of operation Cinder, many pilots defected to the New Republic. This shortage of pilots and new recruits led to Sardo being made a fighter pilot in addition to continuing to work as a technician.

Sardo believes in the Empire. Under its jurisdiction the galaxy has never been safer. If the cost of that is personal freedom, thats an acceptable loss.

Drive- The Game

With the New Republic rising to power the Imperials are having to find new tactics to fight back. Sardo revels in this. Often having to adapt both the ships he is repairing as well as his flying style with very short notice.

As Imperial shipyards get taken over, or destroyed, by the New Republic the supply of new TIE's is going down while the demand stays the same. To try and help the Imperial remnants to survive Sardo is trying his best to repair existing TIE's, often having to use pieces from other ships.
