Zolar

Zolar is an odd man-about-town in the Outer Rim. He is the proprietor of the Rameseum, a luxury cruising yacht converted from an old C-ROC cruiser. Gregarious and disarmingly cheerful, he welcomes Rim-born gamblers, Imperial barons and hardened killers equally, so long as they abide by the Rameseum’s rules of conviviality. He seems to have a boundless supply of energy when entertaining, flitting from gathering to gathering as he fills drinks and chats up his clients. He is always full of new ideas, excitedly introducing anyone who will listen to his latest fixation and searching for connections that can help him "make it happen."

The mixed company and the secluded nature of Rameseum junkets make them the perfect setting for illicit rendezvous and cargo transfers. Zolar expedites such arrangements for a small cut and an assurance of discretion. He will also mastermind heists when something catches his interest. His circle of connections and the bold ambition of his schemes attracts a wide variety of talent, but his erratic personality means his plans tend to be grandiose, overcomplicated, and subject to change on a whim.

Zolar is something of a droid enthusiast. Most of his crew is a mix of rare, modified, or entirely custom droids, including his security, servers, pilot crew, and a host of other oddball models. Notable among them is the IG-RM series enforcer droid RM-535, who serves as Zolar's personal assistant and constant, hovering companion. Zolar cheerfully insists that it is a protocol droid, despite its semiverbal nature and obvious weapon hardpoints. Its menacing frame and glossy black armor can often be spotted lurking nearby during cruises, scanning the room as if assembling target data.

While not a combatant by any stretch Zolar is enthusiastic about getting his hands dirty in operations. He carries a first-rate but discreet Coronet Arms HL-27 light blaster- one of the few signs of his genteel CorSec origin. However, he normally relies on his tailored leather jacket and Ramses for defense. He is also a sucker for expensive gadgets of dubious utility, always saying he has “just the thing” for a sticky situation, whether helpful or not.
