Notable Features:

Balfazar would be an otherwise unremarkable toad if not for the mushrooms growing from various locations on his body. These are no mere fungal stowaways, though, and are instead the source of Balfazar's myconid hedge magics. Whenever he casts his small repertoire of spells, spores erupt from at least a few of the mushrooms and dance through the air to fulfill the whim of their magical master.

Character Details

	Background
Balfazar has been a familiar for the Lorellal family for generation, passed down to each generation's greatest arcanist. He is utterly loyal to the Lorellals, but is afforded quite a bit of freedom and independence due to his extreme age. However, whereas many familiars tend to seek independence or even power as they age, Balfazar is comfortable and really only seeks continued comfort.
	Motivation
Balfazar is old and, while his body does not betray it due to the magics suffusing his very being, he feels it in his bones and his soul. Ultimately, all Balfazar really wants is a nice quiet puddle full of fat flies for the munching.
	Desire, Fear, Strength, Flaw
Desire: Belonging: Balfazar has mostly attained it, but wants to continue being a member of the Lorellal family. Fear: Isolation: Balfazar is deeply uncomfortable being alone. Strength: Wise: Balfazar is utterly ancient and has an understanding of the truths that drive this world. Flaw: *Greed: Balfazar is always on the hunt for a cozier hideaway or a great source of flies, even though he is plenty well-fed and as comfortable as one can be in Nash'r.
